My team is responsible for the design system for the Standard Bank Group, which covers banking apps, internet banking, and many other digital products in 22 countries across Africa.

We collaborate with 300 talented designers and engineers on designing the interface and process around how the bank uses, maintains, scales and evolves design.

Before moving to South Africa, I co-founded one of the pioneering web development companies in Zimbabwe. I spent 6 years providing solid design and development solutions for international NGO’s like UNICEF, ILO, and IUCN and had the opportunity to work with many communities across Southern Africa.

I have lived and worked in 3 African countries, a big picture guy who really likes people and music. I have previously given talks on Building Design systems and ‘maintaining creativity while designing at scale’ to name a few.
